The Team
Dave started the business as a sole trader in 2002. His attention to detail and high work ethic gained him a lot of respect in Teesdale, and soon he found he had too much work to cope with on his own. We employ three people who range in age from 18 - 62 and have a total of 55 years experience in landscaping.

Sylvia joined the business in 2006. She accompanies Dave on site visits, draws garden plans, deals with any administration, accounts, wages and health and safety.

Roger has worked with us since 2006. Previously he worked for Hambrooks, award winning landscapers working around the Portsmouth area. He also worked for the Forestry Commission for many years. He is 62 and Dave hopes he won't retire!!

Jonathan has worked with us since 2007, and has experience in walling; paving and excavation work. He loves moving earth about with a digger, unfortunately he often has to use a wheelbarrow!

Dave and Sylvia's son John has worked in the family business since 2008 and is currently studying for a Diploma in Horticulture at the University of Cumbria. He was very proud when the local factory grounds that he looks after in the village were awarded a Gold Medal in the Best Business Park category, Northumbria in Bloom, 2009. He is currently taking various short courses and he hopes to continue with his studies by completing some Aborist training at Askham Bryan.
